It is such a beautiful piece, very elegant and modern, not ostentatious and lights up the room perfectly. The metal wire gives you the guidance of where the front of the piece is, so it should face forward. Great price and quality.

These are perfect. I have 20W equivalent warm lights in them now and love the glow. I used 4 in an attic room I just refinished as the primary light source - two each on either side of the door and window. They have a nautical look but its not over the top.
