The 36-inch wide fixture is UL and cUL listed for damp and dry locations however we do not recommend installing it in spaces that experience a large amount of moisture.

If you want a bright lamp in a baby room, I don't recommend buying it. However, it is perfect light for baby room. Moreover, because of a remote control, my wife is really comfortable to control the baby room.
