I placed 4 of these on my house. They're centered above each garage door and placed about 12-16in. higher than the top of the garage. I suggest going with the black enamel housing and not white. Great product and I'll look for others for the home as well. Pricey but definitely quality construction.

This light is easy to install and assemble. For the price it can't be beat. I looked at lights that were anywhere from $85-$3500, this works and completes the look I was going for. It doesn't have to be designer to look good. Well worth it.
