  • In 1931 Rene Lalique designed the Dahlia pattern to adorn the boxes which were part of the beauty rituals of every woman from the “Belle epoque“ period.
  • Nowadays, these decorative panels are still fashioned by Lalique in satin finish crystal.
  • The interpretation of this pattern in a crystal prism designed by Windfall creates a new contemporary element for the new lighting collection Serene.
  • The Femme Bras Leves and Joueur de Pipeau patterns were designed by Rene Lalique in 1928 for the decorative panels which adorned the interiors of the luxury and famous train, the Orient Express.
  • During the inter-war period, the train appeared as the right solution to overcome the air and sea blockades.
  • The Orient Express train was one of the first luxury train made entirely of metal during this inter-war period.
  • It was an astonishing demonstration of the cutting-edge technologies and the finest know-how implemented at that time.

Absolutely singular lamps! Would recommend hue or nanoleaf bulbs for some cool lighting in your room. Ordered 2, got one with a little grey-ish tint on one of them. Vakkerlight was kind enough to replace it, so no worries.

I was looking for modern wall sconces to flank my large painting and what I love about these is that they add and do not distract to that vignette. I like that the stem is long which allows for less cord to show.

I would say the pictures absolutely speak for themselves but unfortunately I forgot to take the "before" shots before I ripped my old unit out of the ceiling and into the back of a garbage truck that happened to be driving by.

Put 2 in my laundry room. They look great ! they give off a nice diffused yet bright enough light . Don't hesitate with this light. My husband said they were fairly easy to install. perfect size. Can't beat the price. Love them!
