Set up was a little difficult because the bracket on our existing light was bigger than the one this light was made for, but we made it work and its great in our dining room!

I love these for my house, my partner likes to have the room dark and I like to have the room light so these are perfect medium for us! They are opaque so the light does not come through the shade. It is kind of like having candles lit with a warm glow instead of room illumination. They are 4/5 stars because the instructions were not super helpful and I had to watch a few videos on how to disconnect my previous lights.
